 What time do the Tours start?

Day Tours and Professional Coaching tours ride time starts at 8 AM. We arrive at your accommodations with a certified tour guide, road bike, and helmet along with the support vehicle at 7:30 AM. We will review cycling safety procedures prior to the start of your ride.

Super Fowl Century Tour ride time starts at 8 AM. Continental breakfast will be served in the lobby starting at 6:30 AM.

How long are the tours?

Day Tours and Professional Coaching Tour are 3 hours from start time to finish.

Super Fowl Century Tour Vacation consists of  4 nights, 5 days, 100 miles – 3 days of cycling with 3 different accommodations. For 3 days you will ride to your next accommodations, approximately 40 miles each morning between 8 AM – 12 PM arriving in time for lunch.

What type of bike can I rent?

Bike rentals are for Day Tours and Professional Coaching only. Currently, all rental bikes are road bikes with handlebar gear shifters, regular pedals, no cycling shoes required. 

Do I need a helmet?

Helmets are required on all tours.

Helmets are included with bike rental for Day Tours & Professional Coaching.  Your personal helmet is welcomed.

For the Super Fowl, Century Tour Vacation bring your helmet.

Why is tour start times early?

Day Tours and Professional Coaching Tours are designed for a 3-hour door-to-door ride. Rides later in the morning will be extremely uncomfortable under the tropical sun.

What to wear on a Day Tour or Professioanl Coaching Tour?

  • Cycling Kit is preferred
  • Padded cycling shorts highly recommended
  • Comfortable close fitting tee shirt or tank top
  • Athletic lace-up footwear with socks only. Flip flops are NOT recommended

What to bring on the Day Tour & Professional Coaching  Tour? (Listed items are not mandatory, only suggestions)

  • Backpack with small hand towel

 Are the Tours safe?

All tours are accompanied by security officers, full support vehicle, professional licensed tour guides certified by the Jamaican Cycling Federation and the Jamaican Tourism Board.

How do I prepare for a Day Tour and Professional Coaching?

Day Tours start early. We recommended the following for a great ride.

  • Good night sleep
  • Breakfast for energy

Will I be able to participate in tours under the influence of alcohol?

Super Fowl Cycling Tours have a zero tolerance substance abuse policy. All tours are non-alcoholic. Any Super Fowl Cycling Tours Limited employees can deny a rider to participate on the tour that has consumed substances that affect their ability to ride a bike.

All Tours are alcohol-free on ALL rides. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Intoxicated individuals will not be allowed to ride. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Why do I need to sign a waiver?

The safety of all our riders is our first priority. We will take every measure to ensure your ride with us is safe.  Signing the waiver acknowledges all parties are aware and agree about safety.

What if I cannot continue the tour?

All Tours are accompanied by a full support vehicle. If for any reason you cannot continue the ride, you can comfortably continue the tour on the support vehicle.

Will I get a refund if I ride the support vehicle?

Refunds will not be granted once on the tour and for riding in the support vehicle.

Refunds/Cancellations Policy

Day Tour & Professional Coaching:

Refunds/Cancellations made within 24 hours of tour date will receive 100% refund


Super Fowl Century Tour Refund/Cancellation:

The following refunds will apply to payments made in full and partial payments.

Cancellations within: 30 days of deposit or payment in full will receive 100% refund. 60 days of deposit or payment in full will receive 50% refund. 90 days deposit or payment in full will receive 25% refund.

NO refund 30 days prior to tour date.

Should I bring valuables on the tour?

Super Fowl Cycling Tours Limited is NOT responsible for damages or loss of ANY valuable items. Please DO NOT BRING ANY VALUABLE ITEMS ON THE TOUR.

What if it rains on the day of the tour?

In the event of inclement weather, all tours will occur on a tour bus.

If possible Day Tours & Professional Coaching will be rescheduled for the next day.

Super Fowl Century Tour will occur on the tour bus.

What If I damage the rented bike or helmet?

Rental equipment either a bike or helmet or both from Super Fowl Cycling Limited for the duration of the tours will be solely the renter’s responsibility to maintain during the tour. Any damages will be billed to the renter.

What time should I book my flight?

Schedule your arrival time to Jamaica between 12 PM – 6 PM.

Schedule your departure time from Jamaica after 12 PM.

What airport in Jamaica should I fly into?

Book your flight into Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay Jamaica.

Do I need a passport?

Ensure you have ALL the required VALID documents to travel to Jamaica. Jamaica requires a Passport to enter the country. Non-US citizens, check with your country to ensure you have all the correct documents for travel to Jamaica.

What Jamaica destination address do I use on my Customs Form?

When arriving in Jamaica you will be required to complete a Customs form prior to landing. This form requires a Jamaica destination location. Your destination location will be Rooms Ocho Rios, Main Street, Ocho Rios.

Why do I need to obtain traveler’s medical insurance?

Super Fowl Cycling Tours Limited takes your safety seriously. It is our first priority. We take every effort to make sure you have a memorable and safe vacation. It is our requirement.

Traveler’s medical insurance is required and MUST be emailed to us prior to arrival. Without traveler’s medical insurance, you will not be able to ride. Traveler’s Medical Insurance can be obtained at www.worldnomads.com

How do I bring my bike to Jamaica?

You will need to pack your bike in a bike box. You can rent a bike box from your local bike club for a fee, or you can purchase a bike box from your local bike shop. Your local bike shop can pack your bike for you or you can pack it yourself. There are many sites detailing how to pack a bike for travel. Check with your airline regarding any additional fees for traveling with a bike.

What type of bike is required for the Super Fowl Century tour?

The Super Fowl Century Tour requires a road bike with handlebar gears shifters.

Your bike is your responsibility at all times.

Is this tour for a beginner rider?

This tour is NOT for beginner riders. This tour is a road bike tour. Routes will consist of highway roads, hills, and mountains, not bike trails. Riders must be able to ride a bike, shift gears and understand bike hand signals.

What type of accommodations are included in this tour?

Super Fowl Cycling Tours carefully select accommodations that are eco/bike friendly, private beach, in the hills of Jamaica. Accommodations are tree houses or cottages-styled near the beautiful beach. At times there may be shared occupancies. We select accommodations that deliver a peaceful and restful vacation that you’ll never want to leave.

Will there be WIFI?

WIFI will be available in designated areas but remember you’re on vacation.

Are meals and beverages included?

Continental or a full breakfast is included. Lunch, dinner, and beverages are at your expense unless noted. Alcohol is at your expense. Credit cards are accepted.

How much can I expect to pay for meals and beverages (non-alcohol)?

You can expect to pay approximately $20 per person for lunch and $35 per person for dinner.  

How much luggage can I bring?

One standard sized suitcase (weighing no more than 50 pounds) per person and (1) carry-on.

Label all of your luggage with your name, address, and contact number. You will be required to retrieve your luggage from the bus upon arrival to the accommodations and to bring your luggage to the bus after check-out.

What do I do once I arrive in Jamaica?

Once you land in Jamaica you will be directed to customs. After clearing customs and retrieving your luggage and bike exit the airport on the side where the buses are parked. You will be greeted with a sign indicating Super Fowl Cycling Tour. You and your luggage will board a bus to Ocho Rios, Jamaica which is approximately a 45-minute drive to your first accommodations in Ocho Rios.

Later after check-in, you will be required to set up your bike. Please let us know if you want us to set up your bike. After bike set up, we will meet in the lobby for dinner. Time will be announced.

Can you set up and repack my bike for me?

Yes, we can set-up and repack your bike for you. Make sure you indicate you need us to unpack, set up and repack your bike on the registration form.
